DJ & MC Experience is the commercial arm of The DJ & MC Academy, a Community Interest Company with 18 years of music education delivery across North London. Every pound of profit is reinvested directly into free workshops and opportunities for young people.

Music is where we start, but it isn’t where we stop. Alongside our workshops, The DJ & MC Academy runs hands-on environmental projects that get young people outdoors, learning practical skills and taking real pride in their local area — and our solar-powered DJ van means our events run clean, wherever they go.
Young people learn to fix rather than throw away — bikes, scooters, headphones and small electronics get a second life, and everyone picks up practical repair skills along the way.
We pull scrap metal, bikes and rubbish out of local lakes and canals. It is part clean-up, part treasure hunt — and one of the most popular sessions we run.
Regular community litter picks across North London parks and estates, giving young people ownership of the spaces they live in and a visible result at the end of every session.
